DESCRIPTION:The 14th annual Aim High Sporting Clay Shoot will be at Inflight Outfitters. Join the Aim High Committee and Junior Achievement on April 11 and 12 for a fun filled event with 21 challenging stations, food stations throughout the course, a raffle, silent auction, lunch and awards. If you have never been clay shooting before, then there isn’t a better time to start than right now. The Aim High Sporting Clay shoot offers one of the most challenging clay shooting courses you’ll find in South Texas. It is the perfect introduction to the sport for novices, while still testing the skills of the experienced shooter. Aim High is a great way to entertain your customers, clients or provide a fun means of entertainment for your employees or family.\nThe Aim High Sporting Clay Shoot was established to assist JA in raising additional revenue for JA programs.\nThe Stations\nEach station presents shooters with a different type of shot. At a “grouse station,” for example, shooters might face flushing “birds” that zip in and out of the trees. At a “decoying duck” station, incoming targets may float in toward the shooter. At all 21 “stations,” targets will be thrown as true pairs and to further challenge shooters, target size may vary from the standard clay target to the smaller “midi” and “mini” targets, or a flat disc shaped “battue” target.
