
2025 STS-AIChE Southwest Process Technology Conference Sept 22 – Sept 23, 2025 – Houston
It is our great pleasure to welcome you to the 16th STSAIChE Southwest Process Technology Conference (SPTC).
The conference theme is “Process Technology in 2025: Solid Foundation, Dynamic Future.” The conference will be held at the University of Houston, September 22-23, 2025. It will feature a diverse range of keynote presentations and technical sessions, addressing key topics in technology and the business background for the rapidly evolving oil refining and chemical industries along the US Gulf Coast.
We are looking for thought leaders like you to present at SPTC. The session topics are summarized below in Provisional Topics. Do you have insights to share in any of the subject areas? Do you know someone who does? We want to hear from you! The Call for Abstracts is open until 5:00 pm Central Time, Friday May 30, 2025.
KEYNOTE SPEAKER 1: Dean Foreman, Chief Economist of the Texas Oil & Gas Association (TXOGA), is confirmed as keynote speaker #1 at SPTC. He will be addressing “Energy Priorities in 2025.”
