Marc Vandermeer has been the play-by-play voice of the Houston Texans since the team’s inaugural season in 2002, becoming the only NFL broadcaster to call every game in franchise history. As Vice President of Broadcasting, he oversees and appears on HoustonTexans.com, Texans Radio on Sports Radio 610 AM, and the team’s television programming.

Before joining the Texans, Vandermeer served as the play-by-play voice for the Miami Hurricanes, calling both football and baseball national championship teams in 2001. His broadcasting career also includes play-by-play roles at the University of Massachusetts, where he covered the school’s Final Four basketball appearance and Division I-AA football championship, as well as Central Michigan University. He has also called NCAA Basketball Tournament games for Westwood One Radio.

Vandermeer serves on the Junior Achievement Board of Directors and is a graduate of Boston University.
