Will the engineering and construction industry have enough design & construction personnel to build the infrastructure weโ€™re designing today? How can we address changing needs of the generation about to enter the workforce? Are companies adopting and implementing advanced technologies to enhance safety, quality, and efficiency on each jobsite?

Rice Global Forum will help answer these questions and more at our upcoming Workforce Development Panel Discussion on Wednesday, May 15, 2024. Food and drinks will be provided by our gracious host and Signature Sponsor, Turner Industries.

Our panel, consisting of owners, EPCs, academia, and construction workforce training and development experts, will discuss how we can develop, engage, train and sustain enough personnel to meet the projected energy and infrastructure needs across the country.

This monthโ€™s even will be held at the Turner Industries Personnel and Training Center located at 2351 Oleander, Pasadena, Texas 77503. Registration and networking will run from 4:00-5:00; the panel discussion and Q&A will run from 5:00 until 6:30, and we will close out the evening from 6:30-7:00.

A reminder: your participation, sponsorships, and contributions help fund our partnership with Rice University and our continuing efforts to host conversations that drive our industry forward. And as a bonus, all attendees can receive one (1) hour of professional education credits for attending.
