George, a Business/Civic Leadership Forum alumnus (Fall 2003) and former Board Chairman, has been instrumental in shaping Houston’s future through his lifetime of dedicated service to our region.
Special 25th Anniversary Celebration: We’ll also recognize the “Top 25” most impactful alumni from our 1400+ Business/Civic Leadership Forum graduates.
This is a celebration of the leaders who continue to drive positive change across the greater Houston region.

About the Eugene H. Vaughan Civic Leadership Award
The Vaughan Award, named after the Center for Houston’s Future’s founder, Eugene H. Vaughan, recognizes individuals whose lifetime of work has helped shape the future of the greater Houston region and has had a significant impact benefiting all residents.
George is a proud alumnus of the Center for Houston’s Future’s Business/Civic Leadership Forum (Fall 2003). He previously served as the Chairman of the Center’s Board and has been instrumental in ensuring the success of its mission.
Clare Sullivan Jackson, Founder and CEO of Sullivan Group, and Raye G. White, Executive Vice President of Fayez Sarofim & Co., will co-chair our annual community engagement and thought leadership event.
Celebrating 25 Years of Impact
In celebration of the Center’s 25th anniversary, this evening will also recognize the “Top 25” most impactful alumni of the Business/Civic Leadership Forum’s 1400+ graduates including Ric Campo, Anne Chao, Y. Ping Sun, Bobby Tudor, and more.
